2015 Holiday Home Tour | The Everyday Hostess

Happy holidays and welcome to my home! I am so excited to share with you my holiday home decor this year! Laura from The Avery Grace has graciously invited me to share my home as part of her annual Holiday Home Tour. I am one of 18 bloggers and small business owners who are all opening their doors and sharing their decor and traditions this Christmas.

I absolutely love decorating for Christmas! It is without a doubt the most wonderful time of the year! I love turning on the Christmas music in my house, maybe a cute claymation Christmas movie in the background and then decking my house with all my favorite decor! Living in a suburban apartment in downtown Dallas limited the decoration process a little bit this year, but I tried to maximize my space the best I could. I mainly focused on my Christmas tree in my living room and then added a couple little bits of holiday cheer to my bar cart and front door. I tend to like a “rustic-glam” style, so you will find lots of metallics, glitter, and sparkles with rustic pieces such as pine-cones, deer figurines, etc!

So without further ado, come on in!

This year I was super lucky and my boyfriend even helped me decorate. After a long night of tree trimming we enjoyed a nice glass of hot chocolate and some early Christmas cookies! We may or may not have opened an early present as well 😉

How cute are these little “Ho Ho” letters from Sprinkle of Confetti? I love displaying these on my wrapped presents in front of the tree!

Every 20-something year old has to have a bar cart these days right?! I had so much fun decorating this so we are always ready for a spontaneous gathering!
